This coating can be removed if the engine overheats or is overworked, thus removing the protective lubricant coating as it may not have bonded to the metallic surface like RESTORE’s patented CSL formula does. This technologically advanced CSL formulation has unique mechanical and chemical properties that fill in and seal micro-leaks in the cylinder walls and bearing surfaces, restoring them to near original condition.
RESTORE uses a patented CSL formula (copper, silver and lead) that is able to replace metal where metal has been damaged by continual friction. The formulation is predominantly composed of copper and silver, with the minor component of lead mixed with a high grade oil to achieve optimal results.
